Halloween Assemblage Box “Let’s Go Fly a Kite”
This one-of-a-kind Halloween assemblage art piece is built on a vintage Italian frame and designed to delight lovers of gothic whimsy and spooky décor.
At the center sits a hand-painted wooden haunted mansion, layered with black textured surfaces, shimmering Dresden metallic trim, tiny gold stars, lace, and black tinsel. Two small wooden bats hover above the roofline, giving the piece its eerie silhouette.
Peering from the mansion’s windows are miniature cutouts of old-fashioned children — ghostly little figures who look as though they’ve been haunting the house for decades. At the front stand two young boys in striped sweaters, their expressions made all the more unsettling by the creepy balloon they hold, made from an authentic taxidermy eye.
The scene is completed with a resin jack-o’-lantern, real pebbles, hand-felted wool balls, and hidden LED mini-lights that glow from behind the windows, illuminating the children and adding an irresistibly spooky atmosphere. The lights can be switched on whenever you want the piece to come alive.
This artwork measures approximately 10” x 7” x 2.5” and is signed on the back.
